Dear Advisors and Delegates;
It is my distinct honor and privilege to invite you to the eighth annual session of the Davis Model United Nations Conference. The conference will be held on the beautiful University of California, Davis campus from May 15th to May 16th. In the past, we have cultivated an excellent reputation for professionalism and we are excited to continue delivering a challenging and fulfilling educational experience to all our participating delegates.
This year, we will be offering ten committees that will span numerous current international issues and topics. Our committees will range from General Assembly, featuring issues from human rights to world trade and even to the environment. DMUNC is renowned for our smaller, more intimate committees, which I am excited to announce include NATO, as well as a special UN commission devoted to the status of women. We will also have our engaging Historical Cabinet Simulation, as well as a favorite of delegates and DMUNC staff, crisis simulations.
We are committed to making DMUNC a challenging, comprehensive, and fun educational experience for delegates of all levels; and it would be our pleasure to have you join us this year to participate in a respectful and engaging environment for this year’s critically acclaimed conference.
